Macaroni Salad

1 pkg (8 oz.) macaroni noodles
8 oz. fresh or frozen green peas, uncooked
1 c. cubed cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sliced scallions
1 c. sliced celery
Dressing:
1 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
2 T. fresh or dried parsley, chopped
1 T. lemon juice
1 t. salt
1 t. dried dill weed
1/2 t. pepper
Sprigs of fresh dill or additional dried dill weed for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to package directions, except slightly under-cook it to prevent it from becoming mushy. Rinse, drain, and cool. Place in large bowl. Add the peas, cheddar cheese cubes, scallions, and celery. Mix lightly. Combine the dressing ingredients in a medium bowl. Pour dressing over the pasta mixture. Mix lightly, cover, and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Garnish with sprigs of fresh dill or additional dried dill weed.
Serve with fresh fruit.
